Hello friends,
Today we make poppy flowers from crepe paper. Because the poppy flower has very thin petals, it seems that light can pass through. (In another video I used twisted paper to make paper poppy). And crepe paper is quite thick, it doesn't look real. So I used coconut oil, spread it on the petals so that the light could penetrate the petals.
You will need:
- Crepe paper: Red and Black https://amzn.to/2Khaauv
- PVA Glue : https://amzn.to/2YpLQPY
- Scissors
- Floral Stem Wire: https://amzn.to/2KgkbrJ
- Cotton ball
- Floral tape
- Coconut Oil

Now we start to do it.
First cut 4 petals, apply coconut oil and wipe over with tissue
Cut the black crepe paper strip (3 inches x 4 inches), fold it twice and spread the glue.
Cut the second piece of black crepe paper (1.5 inches x 4 inches) and twist it.
Put the twisted rope between the first strip of paper and paste it again.
Cut the black crepe paper strip into a stamen like image
Paste the stamens around the pistil
Continue to paste 4 petals into the center
My following video will show you how to do it carefully
