Welcome to a handmade flower lover’s blog – Camellia Bees. Today I will show you the stage of making a lily flower completely from paper. If you can’t buy stamens and pistils made of clay, this is the right guide for you. This lily flower is really beautiful, it looks like a real flower in the distance.

You will make this flower about 10 minutes. If you’re not used to it, it will take more time.

You will need the following:

– Crepe paper 180gsm or 140 gsm: https://amzn.to/2Khaauv

– White floral wire (22 gauge): https://amzn.to/2KeN0Vr

– Glue or Hot glue gun

– Crayon

– Floral tape

– Scissors

Now we start working

First cut the pieces of crepe paper with a size of 4 inches x 5 inches (8cmx13cm). Then cut diagonally to make 2 half triangles.

Flip one plate over so that the vertical line of the paper is directed from bottom to top. Attach 2 halves together and cut into petal shape.

We will use crayons to color on the petals. Use the hand to pull the edge of the petals a little to create softness. We need 6 petals,

Continue making stamens and pistils. This part is easy but expressing in images is a bit difficult so you can watch the video. We have 1 pistil and 6 stamens for 1 paper lily flower.

Then attach pistils, stamens and 6 petals together.

So we will have a beautiful, bright lily flower from crepe paper.
