Materials for making paper daffodil flowers
To create beautiful daffodil flowers from tissue paper, you will need these materials:
- Tissue Paper
- Scissors
- Floral tape
- Floral wire
- Pipe cleaner
Steps on making paper daffodil flowers
Now, let’s start making flawless paper daffodil flowers yourself!
Step 1: Create daffodil flower’s petals
- Start of with yellow tissue paper at the bottom and the orange paper on top.
- Then fold it in half, presing gently along the back seam. Now you fold dow by a third, and then fold them in smaller section till the end of the papers.
- After that, you will have a zig zag along the outer edge.
- Take a pipe cleaner and fold it over on the middle of the paper and then twist until the little end. Or you can stick by the tape.
- Cut the petal shape in the edge of yellow paper then start to fan out.
- When fan out, there should be three petals on each side, to make your six petaled daffodil.
Step 2: Making the paper daffoldil flower’s pistil
- The pistil is the orange tissue, you find your corner, and pull it gently up toward the middle. Don’t pull too hard, it will tear off, you just pull it from one side, then the other.
- Pull it up to the center of your flowers until it makes a nice orrange center, each layer comes away.
Step 3: Shape the flower
- Gently fluff and arrange the petals to give the flower a full and natural appearance.
- Curve and shape the pipe cleaner stem as desired to create a realistic curve
